MORGU is a Progressive Death Metal band from Tirana
Founded in July 2020 by members of the most popular bands in the Albanian extreme metal scene.
Their musical style is characterized by a mood of melancholy and spiritual intensity. With complex rhythmic structures and shades of Doom, Death and Progressive and Post-Rock transitions.
Morgu’s music is but one part of a total overwhelming experience, full of contradictions: ear-splitting passages and equally impressive silences, light and shadow, drama and modesty, torture and absolution. The result is a cross between concert and performance. It all feels like an act, but it’s so much more than that. It is the human condition.
