Full House B.C. and Sympress concert for the first time at Republic Hub

Full House Brew Crew is a dynamic and energetic metal band from Athens, Greece. Formed in 2009, the band has cultivated a unique sound that blends elements of heavy, groove and metalcore. Known for their impressive live performances, Full House Brew Crew has built a solid reputation in the metal scene, captivating audiences with their intense and melodic compositions. The album “Me Against You”, released by Rock Of Angels in 2018, attracted many new fans, and the album “Bare Knuckle”, released in 2020, solidified their position. On May 10, 2024, the band will release their third album with ROAR, titled “Rise Of The Underdogs”, heavier material than ever, proving that they have no intention of slowing down!

Band members:
Vagelis Karzis – vocals/guitar
Spiros Dafalias – Bass
Giorgios Tzatzakis – Guitar
Nikos Friligos – Drums

Symphress was founded in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca and evolved from acoustic-ambient music to symphonic progressive rock and metal in 2016, debuting the same year at Flying Circus Pub (Cluj-Napoca). The band has participated in various festivals in Romania, including Valea Străjii Motorfest, Bucovina Rock Castle (where they won the entrance contest in 2018) and Celtic Transylvania Fest. Over the years, Symphress went through multiple changes in line-up and musical vision until they found stability. This journey culminated in the release of their debut album, “Father Time (Part I)” in 2023. This concept album contains 14 tracks that blend various musical genres in the classic “prog rock opera” style. The album was performed almost entirely live in two launch concerts at the Palace of Culture in Bistrita and the Urania Palace in Cluj-Napoca. Shortly after the release of the first album, in the autumn of 2023, Symphress released the single “Dewsong”, an atypical track for the band’s style. In the winter of the same year, they released the EP “Un Cântec Simplu” (A Simple Song), which contains three new tracks: “Un Cântec Simplu” (A Simple Song), “Reconnaissance” (Recognition) and “Savagery”.

The first of these is a cover of the rock ballad of the same name released in 2003 by the band Nordica from Bistrita, reinterpreted as a tribute to the former vocalist of this band, Viorel Simionca. In 2024, Symphress released their second album, “Pseudo”. This time, the band included just five tracks, each exploring a different musical style, from jazz and country to folk metal and symphonic metal. The album earned the band numerous interviews in prestigious online magazines, such as Powerplay Magazine, and was well received online. The tour to promote the album “Pseudo” consisted of 11 concerts, all in Romania, where Symphress shared the stage with major metal bands such as Sirenia (NO), Gothic (RO), Cyrax (IT) and Cemetery of Scream (PL), the last one at the Psychosounds Music Metal Ladies Night IX festival (9 March 2024, Quantic Pub). The summer of 2024 promises to be just as exciting, with a mini-tour called “Symphonic Summer Nights” taking the band to new festivals – Rock the Camp, Celtic Transylvania Fest (second appearance) and the first Zeppelin Fest.
