Reklap at Republic Hub, Sântana de Mureș
In Transylvania, talent is cultivated from an early age.
The Raklap band from Sfântu Gheorghe, where the average age is 18, proves it. And even though some of them are still in high school, that hasn’t stopped them from releasing 6 videos.
In 2023, the band released their first album, “Alicsdmeafoldetmertleakrokszalni”. With a style of music described simply as neo-psychedelic progressive alternative Szekler post-punk, but also as straight alternative – their strength is the visceral nature of the music and the twisting performance style.
It’s no coincidence that they were chosen by the bands Kispál and Borz to open for them at Budapest Parkos. and since then they’ve been a constant presence on stages at home and abroad. The year 2023 marked the beginning of an active period with concerts at festivals and clubs in Hungary.
To complete the menu, at the end of 2023, a documentary film was released, entitled The Raklap Story, which tells the story of the band so far.
