Mindthegap Trio and Marquis Noir
The first concert of this year by MINDTHEGAP Trio and their friends Marquis Noir from Cluj-Napoca takes place on 19 April 2024 at Republic Hub, Sântana de Mureș.
MINDTHEGAP Trio is a Romanian experimental jazz band, born only from a long passion for music and jazz. Their unique style is defined by a complex melodic sound with hints of film music, “nu jazz”, fusion and progressive rock.
A lifelong passion for music led founder and composer Ștefan Ormenișan to form this fervent young group that combines jazz and rock styles to create an immersive atmospheric cinematic sound.
Ștefan is an award-winning Romanian creative who has always wanted to play in a jazz band and bring his music to life. Having been a great jazz and rock fan since his early years, he has never stopped being surrounded by music, even if his successful career has taken him to a different space of art.
